 Agents are the playable characters which we choose before a match. We can pick ONE agent for a match. There are in total of 19 agents categorized in 4 groups. Click here to learn about the "Agent's Category" . No two teammates can take a similar agent. There's an unique agent in each team. Although, the opponents might have a same agent as you. You can only see the opponents' agents once you join the match after selecting your agents. You can see what agents your teammates are picking.  Valorant is a tactical shooter game. The one thing which makes it FAR different from any other shooting game is its cast of characters, mainly known as agents. They add a definite flavor to the game. Each agent has a unique set of abilities and playstyle. There are currently 19 agents in Valorant. Each divided in four categories- Duelists, Controllers, Initiators, and Sentinels.  Each of these "Agent categories" has a different attitude towards a match. A well versed team would consist agents from each one of these categories. All of the categories are capable of being offensive and defensive. Duelists Duelists are one of the most aggressive agents which typically handles everything upfront. According to Valorant, duelists are "self-sufficient fraggers".
